My wife told me the other day that I sigh a lot. And it’s true, I do.


I love sighing! It’s one of the most expressive forms of communication I know. I sigh when I’m happy. I sigh when I’m frustrated. I sigh with relief. I sigh when I see something beautiful and words are just incapable of describing the emotions I’m experiencing.


Sighing is my purest expression of emotion.


I have probably sighed 17 times already while writing this blog!


Sadly, most people believe sighing and sighs are negative expressions of emotion. Even the Merriam Webster Dictionary mentions grieve, yearn, and mourn in their entry about sigh!
